LuminariMUD is a unique MUD using Pathfinder/D20 rules and set in a fantasy world of heroes, villains and a world facing a threat that may destroy them all. The game is in an open state, but with plenty of development and world-refinement happening to improve and polish our game. With plenty of lore, and a world map of over 4 million rooms, there's a lot to explore and discover. We cater to PvE lovers and RP, with some PvP goodies coming down the pipe. Our crafting system is deep and allows for unique descriptions and stats you can decide on yourself. We have a GUI for Mudlet and also play well in other MUD clients. We highly encourage those who want to try us out to join our discord server as well. We hope to see you in game!

      Some significant changes are in the pipeline for the coming weeks – Here is a quick
      summary of some of the notable things we have been working on:

      1.) Feats – We have developed a feat system that will take the place of the current
      set of ‘SKILLS’. Differences include more variety, closer adherence to the DnD 3.5 SRD,
      and the ability to STACK feats!

      2.) Weapon types – Still in progress, a classification framework has been developed that will
      group similar weapons together into categories, eg. Long Sword, Short Sword, Greataxe,
      Dagger, etc. Combined with feats, this allows for more character customization.

      3.) Ranged Combat Enhancements – Enhancements utilizing feats are in place for ranged
      combat, hopefully making a character focused on ranged combat feasible.

      4.) Special Ability changes – Due to the new feat system, some abilities have been changed.
      For example, stunning fist is now a ‘preparation’ skill like smite evil, where the player will
      type stunningfist PRIOR to making an attack, once the stunning fist is prepared the player
      then has 24 serconds (roughly) to attempt an unarmed attack.

      5.) Daily Uses of Special Abilities – Many abilities can be used multiple times per day, for
      example, a monk’s stunning fist can be used one time each day for every monk level (and
      one time a day for every 4 non-monk levels). In the new system, a 10th level monk can
      use stunning fist 10 times in a row, regenerating a single use every 1/10th of a mud day.
