Hi everyone. This thread is to give us a place to talk about the Luminari Feat System.
If you have any comments, ideas, suggestions, issues or whatever, please reply.
To start, I just want to let everyone know where we are planning to go, eventually. Right now, user interface improvements, help files and bugfixes are the focus. The study and feats commands are getting as much attention as I can spare in these recent weeks.
Mid-term, I’d like to move feats out of the MUD Engine code and into a database. Transparent to you guys, generally, but it opens up a world of possibilities for the staff. Also, new feats, including different types of feats, like divine feats that use up a cleric/paladin’s turn undead abilities to attain different effects, and ambush feats that let you sacrifice a number of sneak attack dice for enhanced effects, like a short paralysis.
