Greetings! I am posting this here to shrink the list in-game of bugs, and to give me a browser window to work out of for fixing bugs.
Text When you hold two wands you can only activate one.~ Body We should allow players to have two wands and activate each, or prevent them from holdign two alltogether. ================================================================ Text SHOPS~ Body apparently the HL system used items as pet shops... they need to be hand-fixed with the spec proc OR with a dg script ================================================================ Text Hungry spider does not care about on fire cocoon~ Body The enormous spider will eat you even if you have a buddy set the web on fire, which should let you out! ================================================================ Text mithril~ Body Should be! Heavy armors are treated as medium, and medium armors are treated as light, but light armors are still treated as light. Spell failure chances for armors and shields made from mithral are decreased by 10%, maximum Dexterity bonus is increased by 2, and armor check penalties are lessened by 3 (to a minimum of 0). An item made from mithral weighs half as much as the same item made from other metals. It's nothing more than normal material right now though! ================================================================ Text Problems with saves on illusions.~ Body *(Fort:33<Challenge:35) Failed Save!* One of your images is destroyed! That should not be happening since the ghoul never actually hi t me. It hit an image. Now quick chant it feels like to me my casting time still regular time, but at the same time in wildshape i loose my feats. All stats will be set to 3 and it won't be the race/class combinatino you chose. It may also not be lvl 1. Additionally, when you log out it won't show in your account screen. If you then create a new character with that name and start playing it. That character may be replaced later with the bugged one again, causing all progress to be lost. ================================================================ Text crafting message I got~ Body You feel your skill in dwarven crafting(inc) improve! I don't have that feat even listed that I know it. It does say it's a feat in the helpfile for it. Plus it isn't listed as a craft skill so I don't know, lol. It occurred during an autocraft session making war supplies. ================================================================ Text crafting error~ Body Okay, this seemed a bit strange to me, I'm autocrafting an iron ringmail. As I was doing that, I get You feel your skill in weapon smithing improve! I don't think it should say weapon when I'm making armor? ================================================================ Text shield wearing for small size characters~ Body To wear a medium shield I have to equip shield first then equip weapon. But if I resize the shield to small, it doesn't cause that issue. ================================================================ Text say command while crafting~ Body The "say" works fine but it won't allow you to use the ' shortcut for say. ================================================================ Text duration on sleep and deep slumber~ Body sleep says 4 Hours + 6 Rounds/Magic-Level deep slumber says 5 Minutes + 6 Rounds Per Magic-Level It sounds more like sleep should say minutes not hours, deep slumber should be longer than sleep duration I think? ================================================================ Text grasslands zone~ Body This are is a "little" bit off in the zones2 helpfile, says levels 13-16. When I teleported to the zone I got ambushed by 4 mobs around level 26. Body the charisma, appraise skill and selling price is mess up. seem like buying price of item is same as selling price, thus if you got high charisma you buy item for lower price, but so will be selling price, and low charisma… buy for high price but can sell for that much higher… thus on paper should be highly exploitable, with such set up should be able to buy low with high charisma gear and resell at high price by removing charisma gear. so yeah^^

Body For Ruth’s second quest, she wants Ridley asked about a secret. The only syntax that works is ‘ask ridley secret’.
‘ask girl secret’ does not work, even though both ‘girl’ and ‘ridley’ are valid ways to refer to the npc.
‘ask ridley about secret’ or such also doesn’t work, although I wouldn’t have expected it to, from other places.

Text Shopkeepers can buff their charisma, changing prices~
Body I’m not entirely sure if this is a bug or intended behavior, but shopkeepers, since they’re all spellcasters, can buff their Charisma scores. Doing so causes them to raise their prices (and presumably reduce what they pay) by a few percentage points.
There’s also no way to tell whether or not any given shopkeeper has done this, unless you happen to be there when they cast.

Body The “Levels” command is currently showing me the Druid titles, not the Rogue ones. I’m Rogue 15/Druid 2.
It’s possible that my last level was a Druid level (I forget), but it should refer to the same class that “who” does.

Text Offhand attack calculations~
Body There’s something strange with the offhand attack calculations.
With BAB 6 (rogue 8) + 8 Dex mod (Weapon finesse) + 5 (weapon enhancement), I should have a raw attack of +19.
Iterative attacks would then be 19/14 on the mainhand. When dual wielding with TWF and ImpTWF, it should be 17/12 on the mainhand and 17/12 again on the off hand.
However, I’m instead seeing 17/12 on the mainhand and 15/14 on the offhand. Adding Greater TWF adds a /9 to the offhand.
It looks to me like the calculations for the first offhand attack have an *extra* -2 that isn’t being canceled, but the calculations for the second and subsequent ones are iterating off the non-TWF numbers.
This is persistent across all levels (that have access to the attacks) and whether using the TWF feats or the ranger ‘dual wielding’ ones.

Body According to the news update from Feb 2, pets shouldn’t attempt to resuce their master until they’re under 1/3 of their max HP. However, my pets are rescuing me constantly, even when I’m not being attacked (and thus don’t need it) and not injured (and thus they shouldn’t want to).

Text Confusion with monk TWF~
Body The monk’s behavior in regards to flurry vs dual-wielding and the TWF feats is very unclear. In 3.5, the feats granted the monk extra unarmed attacks (or armed, if they wanted). In Pathfinder, flurry explicitly replaced that, so you got the same number of attacks, but couldn’t add more with TWF feats.
Luminari seems to combine both: Flurry mode grants me as many attacks as I’d expect from TWF, but I can *also* take the feats. They don’t grant me more bare-hand attacks, but I can force a weapon into my off hand (by wielding one, wielding a second, then unwielding the first) and get all the TWF attacks *in addition* to my flurry attacks.
Also, there’s nothing in the help files to indicate whether or not the TWF feats have any effect on bare-hand attacks, flurry, or anything else like that.

Body “Transport via plants” is a really cool spell, but it seems to be quite useless. There are very few plant objects around, and none of the few which do exist actually seem to count as plants for this spell.
Even lumber nodes for harvesting don’t count as plants.
If there’s a way to add more plants to make it useful, that’d be great. Or the spell should be marked as unimplemented, which is also perfectly valid.
But having a spell that can’t actually be used is effectively a bug.

Body In the Mudlet automapper, the “spread” option doesn’t work if the two rooms selected are stacked on top of each other – which is when it’s most needed.
Currently, the only way to fix this overlap problem is to ensure both are selected, choose one (essentially at random) from the list of selected rooms, and move it. Even if you move the wrong one, you at least can access both and fix them.

Body The secrets in the section of the dollhouse with the running girl respawn instantly when killed. This is *very* flavorful, but with a simple “attack on death” type of trigger, it makes them trivial to farm for xp.

Text Mosaic quest timing~
Body I’m not sure if the timing of the quests in the Mosaic is quite right, although I don’t know that they’re wrong, either.
This was my sequence:
1) Insert amulet
2) Look at mosaic, see first scene.
3) Fight gibbering mouthers
4) Look at mosaic, see 2nd scene.
5) Fight serpents
6) Wall shatters, Behemoth spawns
7) Fight behemoth, it runs
8) Chase and kill it
9) Loot room & crystal
10) Look at mosaic, see 3rd scene
11) Give crystal to Veralis (unprompted!) to complete the quest.
Additionally, the message when giving it to her is “You have found the Arcanite Crystal, return it to Veralis”, even though that’s what I just did. Then I get all the rewards and the followup quest to go see Alerion again.So, two things felt weird: The behemoth spawned before I looked at the mosaic again and saw the third scene, and I wasn’t given a “return to questgiver” message when I got the crystal, only when I’d already done so.

Notes Ok lets address both parts here. First, timing: The timing is correct – looking
at the mosaic does not trigger the waves. You can look at all three scenes,
even after everything is dead, you leave and come back. Until you see all three
scenes, it will allow you to do so. The mob spawning is on a different timer.
Second the quest completion/prompting: This is a real issue. I have watched
several people do the quest and they always are ???? When nothing happens when
you pickup the crystal. I will put together something to prompt the player to
return the crystal to Veralis, or, I will change the quest flow so that it is
more reasonable. The quest finish message will also be changed. Thanks so much
for the excellent bug report!

Text Alignment is one-dimensional~
Body As best as I can tell, alignment is tracked by a single stat which indicates LG at one end and CE at the other. This means that the next step “Better” from LN is not LG – it’s CG.
I have logs which show that I was LN, I killed one osquip and harvested a bunch of things, and then I was CG.
This is definitely problematic when alignment is used for prerequesites. I don’t know what would have happened if I were a monk when it changed, but I’m pretty sure I’m now locked out of being a monk again until I get “eviler”.

Body When you wimp out and auto-flee a fight, it doesn’t burn a move action. That then means it’s possible to immediately ‘flee’ again with the regular command, which does.
If the wimpy flee cost an action, you wouldn’t be able to immediately flee a second time, and thus could avoid the timing issue (which has killed me several times) where you flee back towards the monsters you just came from because you were about to do it manually when it happened automatically.

Body A paladin’s battle griffon (epic mount) ought to be flying, and should thus let a rider move as if they are flying, as well.
However, riding one doesn’t let Kalran move into a “^” room – he gets the “You need to be flying to go there!” message.
Additionally, he can order the griffon to land, and it will, but it can’t take to the air again (“order griffon fly” doesn’t produce anything). Subsequent attempts to order it to land also produce no reaction, so it appears that it started out flying and lost it when it landed.
The movement-while-riding issue was true even before the griffon landed.

Text Character stats and racial adjustments~
Body It appears that the stat-setting portion of the study menu is not properly accounting for racial adjustments.
On a Half-orc (+2 Str, -2 Int, -2 Cha), the starting stat values are correctly 10/8/8/6/8/6.
However, Strength can only be boosted by 8 points (not 10) to cap at 18 – the same as any other race. And Int and Cha can’t be boosted by a single point or dropped back to 6 after being raised to 8, because that would put them below the stat-cap. They can’t even be left at 0 once you start editing them, for the same reason. Additionally, raising them from 6 to 8 costs 0 points, and two points are pre-deducted for the Str score starting at 10 (which can be recovered by dropping it back to 8).
In other words, nonhumans have freely-removeable penalties to their penalized stats and no actual bonus stats.

Body The “collect” command and “autocollect” are very helpful, but they don’t seem to work correctly in a group situation.
If Kalran kills the creature with his “autoloot” flag turned on, then he gets all my arrows. If the griffon kills the creature, then no one gets them unless I manually type “collect”.

Text Delivered mail is wiped by copyover~
Body I received a mail, and went to the post office to pick it up. I read it, and then we had a copyover. AFter the copyover, the mail object itself is effectively blank: It has the “LuminariMUD Mail System” header, and that’s it.
The rest of the message appears to be gone, and since I received it, I can’t re-receive it to get it back. I have it logged, so I’m not concerned about this particular message, but it does mean that mail is much less permanent than it would appear.

Body Power attack no longer adds its damage bonus to ranged weapons. However, it now subtracts its attack penalty from them.
For example: My bonus is +40 for 1d6+14 damage without it, and +35 for 1d6+14 with it set to 5.

Text Respecing to the same class at max level~
Body If you’ve taken 30 levels in a single class, you can no longer “respec” into that class. Apparently, you fail the “Max level in class” prerequesite, so you’re no longer qualified.
This appears to be true no matter what class you are. You have to respec to a different class, gain 2nd level (which requires spending all your trains and probably stat points), and then respec back to your original.
I’m not sure if there’s a good way to allow a respec while preventing any further gain. However, a similar problem might occur if you’re in an alignment-restricted class and your alignment changes (i.e. a monk becoming non-lawful). Perhaps you should always be able to respec into any class you currently have, without prereqs? Although then you’d have to worry about the prestige class prereqs, too…
I don’t have an answer, just the boundries of the problem.

Body There appears to be no way to exit from the choice of a cleric’s domains. The usual options of “0”, “-1”, and “Q” are all invalid. The only way forward is to make a choice.
Relatively minor bug, since you can always just pick one and then go back in and change it (or abort the study), but it’s an inconsistency with the rest of the menu system.

Body I have no idea what drives the “Played” value on the score screen, but there’s something very wrong with it.

Body A fellow player made a Human Cleric, he was sure of race and class. When he finished with choosing it came out as a Human Rogue, with a dwarven racial trait. Also when he tried to remake the cleric next, it has 17intelligence and when he went to train he had 24 skill points at level 1. I was talking with him as he did creation and got direct feedback.
