So, other day I spend about 600k gold on crafting and only get one Tower Shield with +3 con and some augmented crystal. (2 crystal of Constitution max level 15 and 1 crystal of Constitution max level 8)
In my options, at current system crafting just cost too much money for return of investment. Treasure item can provide MUCH better item without needing to spend insane amount of money.
Money issues asides, I have some idea for crafting system.
Instead of disenchant only give random stats, how about it will disenchant the exact stats that item have? For instance if I disenchant my ‘a fine looking chainmail’ that have Save Death By -2 and Strength by 3, disenchant will give crystal with Save Death by -2 and Strength by 3.
Other idea, is to let crystal with different stats to augment together. Con crystal and Str crystal combine into Con and Str crystal for instance.
I like that you can string your own item name, keep that idea!
One other idea is instead of mold, mob have random drop of trade skill recipe that you can “learn” into your trade skill book or something along that effect. Also, there can be some crafting trainer who can train you for recipe at cost.
That all ideas I have for crafting right now. If I come up with more, I’ll post them!
